There are a large amount of Muslims in China and they spread all over China. Most of the population of Muslims are distributed in Chinese northwest provinces, such as Xinjiang, Gansu, Ningxia, etc. Muslims also can be found throughout the provinces of Yunnan in southwest China and Henan in central China. However, there are also some individual members of traditionally Muslim ethnic groups, which may live in other religions. Additionally, Tibetan Muslims are officially classified along with the Tibetan people.
